Brian Travers Arts
Turning the fabulous artwork of artist, musician, composer and lyricist Brian Travers into a range of high quality art products, apparel and merchandise.

Brian Travers is perhaps best known as being a founder member of the reggae band UB40. He has spent over 35 years both recording and touring during which they have sold over 120 million albums.

Brian was educated at Birmingham's Moseley School of Art. After 20 years residing in the rural Worcestershire, he returned to his roots in Moseley where he now paints ‘abstract’ canvases, perspex sheets, stainless steel and creates painted glass and ceramic objet d’art.

The red, white and blue roundel popularised in the Mod culture of the 1960s has been updated to reflect modern, multi-cultural Britain. Brian has done this by utilising red, green and gold — colours also associated with reggae culture. Brian has softened the lines by painting them freehand to reflect this twenty-first century melting pot.

Brian Travers Arts is an initiative setup to turn the fabulous artwork by Brian Travers into high quality art accessories, clothing and merchandise. We are a working partnership with Brian Travers Art Studio who organise exhibitions to promote his original artwork and commissions.

Brian's work is best described through a favourite quote of his:
“I’m trying to express my feelings NOT illustrate them!” (Jackson Pollock)
